Software Engineer Intern

Location: Remote
Commitment: A flexible commitment of 15-20 hours per week for a 3-month term, starting with a remote trial.

About the role

LV8 Tech is a small, AI-native engineering pod. We are looking for a software engineering intern to work directly on our active client and internal projects. You will contribute to full-stack web applications, shipping features on production codebases using technologies like Next.js, Node.js, and MongoDB under the direct mentorship of our senior engineers.

This is an unpaid internship focused on providing real-world experience. The process begins with a short, remote trial period working on real tasks. If there is a strong mutual fit, we will invite you to continue the internship in person at our Noida office. For top performers, this role has a direct path to a full-time offer. You will leave with a portfolio of shipped work, direct mentorship, and a strong reference.

What you'll do

Contribute to full-stack web applications using our primary stack: React/Next.js, Node.js/Express, and MongoDB.
Ship features and fix bugs on live client projects, such as the Mazala Pizza web platform or the Phonics Learning App.
Implement and maintain secure REST APIs, including user authentication flows using JWT.
Assist with operational tasks and feature development for internal tools like our LV8 Control CRM and LV8 Health Dashboard.
Collaborate on planning and building components for new projects, such as the Britain's Car Wash website.
Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly, including verifying all generated code for correctness and security before committing.
