Physics Teacher

Location: Remote · India | US Shift
Commitment: 4–6 hrs/week, Mon–Fri
Compensation: Paid · ₹500 per hour

About the role

We are looking for a part-time Physics Teacher to teach two students, aged 10 and 11, through live online sessions. You will be teaching American students in English, so clear spoken communication matters here as much as subject knowledge does.

This is a small, focused teaching role rather than a classroom position. You will work closely with two learners, set the pace based on how each of them is actually progressing, and keep parents in the loop on what is working. We expect AI to be part of how you prepare and teach, not an afterthought. Sessions run Monday to Friday, timed around US student availability.

What you'll do

Teach Physics and physical science concepts to two students aged 10 and 11.
Run live online sessions, one-on-one or paired depending on the topic.
Plan age-appropriate lessons built around everyday examples and simple demonstrations.
Identify where each student is struggling and adjust the pace and approach accordingly.
Share short, regular progress updates with parents.
Use AI tools as part of your teaching workflow — building lesson plans, generating practice problems, and pitching explanations at the right level for each student.

What we're looking for

Experience teaching Physics or general science to children in the 10 to 12 age range.
Excellent spoken English. You will be teaching American students directly and they need to follow you easily.
